A Landmark Building Located at 615 Oak Street

The integrity of Heartwood Center’s original historic brick building was maintained during the restoration of 2012-2014, and key architectural elements were carefully restored and upgraded.

– Beneath the original brick arch, a stage with professional-grade lighting has been added. A former parish hall has been converted into the Grove Room – a meeting space with large windows, natural light and hardwood floors.

– A front entry lobby was added, enhancing the connection between the indoors and outdoors.

– Other additions include theatrical lighting, sound system, large restrooms and a catering room, and full ADA compliancy.

– Located in a park like setting, the landscaping was intentionally designed to preserve the mature trees on the property.
